Archdeacon Wills 1731/2 #43, Patrick, of Silvester Radcliffe of Knockaloe, Patrick:

"In the name of God, amen. I Silvester Radcliffe of Knockaloe in the parish of KK Patrick being frequently put in mind of my dissolution drawing near through the several infirmities that attend old age but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be to Almighty God for the same, do constitute this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
First, I commit my soul to God and body to Christian burial.
Item, I leave as legacy unto my son John all my wearing clothes.
Item, I leave to my daughter Ellinor Towel six pence legacy.
Item, I leave and bequeath unto my daugher Leonora Callister two shillings legacy.
Lastly I nominate, constitute, ordain and appoint my loving daughter Ann Radcliffe sole Executrix of all the rest of my goods and effects whatsoever moveable and immoveable excluding and debarring any person whatsoever from any claim right or pretension to any of my said goods or effects. Witnesses: William Tear, Robert Radcliffe.

The Executrix sworn in Court in form of Law and gave pledges the Revd. Mr. Radcliffe and Mr. William Tear. The widow is also sworn in form of Law.

17th May 1732, Mrs. Ellinor Radcliff enters a claim against the Executrix of Mr. Silvester Radcliffe for the sum of fourty shillings, and craves the Law.

19th July 1732, Mr. Richard Thompson of Castletown enters a claim against the Executrix of Mr. Silvester Radcliffe for the sum of six pounds ten shillings, and craves the Law.

9th November 1732, Philip Corlet of Brooghjarg in behalf of himself and his wife Grace Corlet als Radcliffe enters against the Executrix of Silvester Radcliffe the sum of six pounds, and craves the Law."
