Archdeacon Wills 1730 #13, German, of Esther Craine als Christian, died 19 Nov 1729, Peeltown:

"The last will and testament of Esther Craine als Christian who departed this life the 19th of November being of perfect mind sense and memory at the making thereof in manner and form following.
First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
Item, she left and bequeathed to her daughter Margaret Quirk als Craine a table, a toranne, and three chairs which were already in her said daughter’s house.
Item, she bequeathed and devised unto her daughter Catharine Quirk als Craine the filly that followed the mare, a little wheel, and all her clothes both linen and woolen.
Item, she left and bequeathed unto her son Hugh Craine all her part or moiety of houses and lands to her belonging where ever lying or situated.
Lastly, she nominated constituted and appointed her said son Hugh Craine whole and sole Executor of all the rest of her goods and chattels moveable and unmoveable. Hereby excluding depriving and debarring all and everyone from any right in this bequest and will by leaving them severally six pence legacy. Likewise reversing nullifying and revoking all and every will testament and assignment formerly procured to be made by her; appointing ordaining and declaring this (exclusively of all others) her only last will and testament to be of force and validity.
Witnesses: John Crain, Thomas Quay.

The Executor sworn in Court in form of Law, and gave pledges Mr. William Tear and Mr. William Cooper.

Peeltown: The dispute between Richard Quirk and Hugh Craine xxx relation to the within will is composed and accommodated this day as followeth; the said Hugh Craine hereby obliged and has agreed to pay Richard Quirk the sum of four pounds ten shillings; and upon amicable accord the within will is to be executed in Law, on exclusion of all others. Witness their hands, Jun the 8th 1730. [signed] Rich. Quirk, Hugh Craine."
