Archdeacon Wills 1729 #97, Marown, of Margaret Clucas als Quay, died the beginning of March last:

"The last will of Margaret Clucas als Quay who was buried about the beginning of March last, being in good and perfect mind and memory at the making thereof, having commended her soul to God and body to Christian burial, disposed of her worldly effects in manner following. Item, she left to her elder son Thomas or whoever of her children will be heir her half of the crop and team; her husband Thomas Clucas consented at the same time to give his part of the crop and team after his death to the heir. Item, she left to her said husband the riding horse. Item, to her goddaughter Margaret Cretney a sheep and lamb. Item, she left all the rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever to her other children equally among them, except a heifer which she left to her daughter Ann over and above the rest and a bullock and a mare and pot, which she left to her brother Thomas his children what she owed them. The husband Thomas Clucas hath given his full consent to this will, as to his part of the crop and team, witness his name this 15th day of July 1729 [signed his mark] Thomas Clucas. Witnesses Thomas Karran, John Gell. The children and their goods in the hands of Thomas Clucas the husband, and hath given pledges according to Law, Nicholas Kelley and Gill McYlchreest. John Quay, Silvester in behalf of his wife.

At true inventory of the goods of Margret Clucas als Quay, as follows praised by four sworn men: half the cattle, 3 pounds 15 shillings no pence; half the horses, 2:2:6; half a calf, 0:1:0; half a feather bed and two bolsters, 0:15:0; half a chest and two boxes, 0:5:0; half the barrels, 0:7:0; half the cloth camled and stuff, 0:8:0; the dead’s clothes, 0:19:0; the dead’s linens & two petticoats, 0:12:0; half of eight yards of linen cloth and two sheets, 0:12:4; half of eleven xx and a half of pewter, 0:40:9 1/2; half a bed stead, 0:0:6; half the bed clothes, 0:18:0; half the sacks & one canvas, 0:1:8; half an old blanket and two bags, 0:0:4 1/2; eight barrels, 0:3:6; half a heckle [a comb with 4+ rows of nails for combing flax—linen—fibers to make them straight], 0:0:4 1/2; half the wooden vessels and a pot, 0:3:0; half the griddle and frying pan and a spit, 0:2:6; half the woolen and barrugh cards, 0:0:9; half of 3 wheels and two crocks, 0:1:1; half the wool, 0:4:9; half the flax, 0:2:7; half the hemp, 0:1:9; half the barragh yarn, 0:0:6; half the wisted yarn, 0:0:10; half a swine, 0:10:00; half the crocks, 0:0:3; Total = 12 pounds 0 shillings 0 pence. Note that the half of the team is praised to 4:xx:0. Note that half the sheep and lambs are 1:01:6; the husbandry gears, 0:8:0. The Whole Total = 13:10:6."
