"Rushen 1728: This is affirmed to be the last will of Isabel Hutchin als Christian, who departed this life about the 3rd of December being of sound mind and perfect memory at the making thereof. First, she commended her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item, she willed and disposed of her worldly goods as hereafter expressed. She left and bequeathed to her grandchild John Hutchin son of John half a lamb and a chest. To her grandchild William Hutchin son of John half a lamb. Item, to her grandson Paul Hutchin a sheep and a lamb. She left to him also four pound of flaxon gam[or garn] whitened. Also a pound and half of flax. She left him also a red petticoat and one of black camlet. Also half a heifer. Item, to Joney Clucas a petticoat of black flannel. Item, to Timothy Crebbins wife a black lindsey-woolsey petticoat, her best bodice, and a pair of large sleeves. Item, her every day clothes she left to William Costeans wife, and her every day waist coat to Marriot Kermod. Item, a white plaiding petticoat to Jane Waterson. Item, to John Kermods wife a linen apron and fine linen sleeves. Item, a little spinning wheel to Ann Costean. Her best Hewerdson shift to Richard Harrisons wife. Item, a large linen handkerchief. Item, a laced cap to Katharine daughter of the said Harrison. Item, she left to her son William Hutchin 6 pence legacy. Lastly, she named, appointed and constituted her son John Hutchin sole Executor of all the rest of her effects moveable and immoveable whatsoever. Witnesses: Ann Harrison, Ann Costean.
