The last will & testament of GILBERT KERMOD who declared & made the same about a year before his death, and was in perfect mind & memory at the making of it. First, He committed his soul to God, and his body to Xtian burial. Item, He left to his SON WILLIAM KERMOD a filly fole, yt is since dead, with a half a couw; (of the sum of ten shillings as Henry Juck one of the witnesses affirms). Item, He left & appointed his DAUGHTER CHRISTIAN KERMOD sole & lawful Executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable & immoveable whatsoever. Item, Heny Juch one of the witnesses do further declare, that y Testator left to his SON GILBERT'S TWO DAUGHTERS a lamb apiece. To his GRANDCHILD GILBERT KERMOD SON OF WM a lamb as legacy. To the witnesses 6d each. Witnesses: Willm Ratcliff, Henry Juck, jurati. THE EXECUTORS SWORN in form of Law. Probatum est & solvit 10d. Pledges, the Witnesses of the Will."
