Peeltown
The last will and testament of Isable Corrin of
Peeltown, who departed this life ye 11th of Augt anno 1710,
being of perfect mind and memory at the making thereof
as follows.
She committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial
She left to her daughter Mary the croft called Peter's croft,
in consideration of her part of the houses and other gardens
if she makes use of it, and if she makes no use of it, that
then her son Thomas is to have it, paying her fourty shillings;
and if it shall please God to call for her without issue, that
then Thomas is to have it free; and also if it should come to
Thomas's hands and he not make use of it, that then her
eldest son Dan is to have it before any other, upon
paying the said sume, or free, if the said Thomas should dy wth
out issue.
She left to her said son Thomas the sume of fourty shillings
in consideration of his part of the houses and gardens , as
afforesaid, the said Thomas and mary hereunto consenting,
(their father dying intestate) and likewise the said Dan
hereunto consenting & asserting that if it shall plaese God to
call for him without issue, that the houses and gardens are
to return to his brother Tho and in default of issue, to decend
to Mary & her issue.
She left to her son Dan a fine sheet, and a pair of coaarse
ones.
Itm She left to her son Tho a blanket, and two sheets, with a
pair of coarse ones.
Itm She left to her daughter mary the lessor pot, a blanket, two
sheets, with a pair of caorse ones
Itm She left a cow and a heifer equally betwixt Thos & Mary
Lastly She constituted and appointed her said daughter Mary sole and
only exectx of all her other goods moveable & unmoveable
