KK Andrews: WILLIAM JOUGHIN departed this life intestate about the first of February 1708 whereupon the Court hath decreed his CHILDREN unmarry'd vizt JOHN, MARGRET, JONEY, ELLIN, ALICE & CATHERINE JOUGHIN his true & joint Admrs of all his Goods movable & immovable whatsoever, and a Legacy to ye wife upon sight of the Inventory. Three of ye above Admrs vizt JOHN, MARGT & JONEY with ye MOTHER are sworn in form of Law. Decretum est & solvit 2s. 4d. THE WIFE's Legacie is 5s.
THE INVENTORY BROUGHT IN by ye Admirs & ye Sumner, amounts to 05 pounds : 16 shillings : 09 pence.
The corn & crop prized to 02:14:00; The Dead's part 08:10:09.
THE DEBTS on ye other side to be deducted 02:15:5. [subtotal] 5:15:4.
The wife's Legasie to be deducted 0:05:0. [Total] 5:10:4.
CATH: JOUGHIN'S SIXTH part of 5:10:4 is about 18 shillings & five pence ):18:5.

ELLIN ONE OF YE ADMRS being infirm & sickly with ye YOUNGEST CHILD CATHERINE underage, their goods are in ye hands of ye xxxxx SON JOHN: who hath given pledges in form of Law, Wm Cleater and Dan: Dewan. Note yt ye MOTHER hath half of the YOUNGEST CHILD's goods & given Pledge.
16 FEB 1708: FOUR OF YE ADMRS being at age vizt., MARGT, JONEY, ELLINOR & ALICE have surrendered their part of the Administration to THEIR BROTHER JOHN for the just som of seven shillings six pence apiece with a sheep to each of them. And he to pay all debts wtever. To which they have obliged themselves, as witness their marks to their hames: JOHN JOUGHIN's mrk X, MARGT JOUGHIN's mrk X, JONEY JOUGHIN's mrk X, ELLIN JOUGHIN's mrk X, ALICE JOUGHIN's mrk X. NOVR 11TH 1709: MARGT JOUGHIN ONE OF YE WITHIN ADMINSTR wch acknowledge to have received this day from her BROTHER JOHN ye summe of fifteen shillings for and in behalf of herself & SISTER JONEY according to ye within agreement, as witnesse her mark to her name MARGT JOUGHIN M. She has also received the two sheep due from her brother to herself & sister. Before me, Sam: Watleworth, Archdeacon.
DECR 21ST 1714: NELLY JOUGHIN ONE OF YE WITHIN ADMIRS doth acknowledge to have recd this day from her BROTHER JOHN seven shillings six pence, being due to her according to ye within Agreement, And does discharge him thereof. & witness her mark; And she discharges him for ye sheep also. NELLY JOUGHIN's mrk X. Before me, Chas: Wattleworth Regr.
APRIL 13, 1715: THIS DAY CATH: JOUGHIN came to ye Records, & does acknowledge to have recd from her BROTHER JOHN JOUGHIN 15s 5d in full of her part of goods due unto her by ye death of her FATHER WM JOUGHIN; depending on his good Will for ye interest that is due unto her from her sd brother.
