This is affirmed to be ye last will of Ned Carret who departed this life about ye be = ginning of March 1707 ; being in perfect mind & memory at ye making thereof. First he committed his Soul to God & his body to Xtian Burial Itm. He left his part of ye Croft call'd [Drim y Coule] ….. to his Eldest Son John, ye whole being [two] shillings rent : And he desired yt his wife might give her part thereof to their sd. Eldest Son John ; Which if she did condescend unto, that then she shou'd have his part of ye sd. Croft till his Son John aforesd. would be twenty four years of age ; (to which ye wife has consented.) Itm. He left a mutton apiece to each of his other Children vizt. Charles & Joney. To his Son Edward 6d Legacy to cut him off any further part of his goods. To ye witnesses of ye will 6d apiece Lastly He appointed his loving wife his true & Lawful Execx. of all ye rest of his goods movable & immovable. ..stes John Carret }jurati The Execrx. Sworn Margt.
