Douglas
Mrs Margaret Murray departed this life about
the 3rd of March last intestate, whereof the
court having intelligence, has decreed her eight
children John, David, Margt, Robt, Susanna
James, Wm & Tho Murray sole & joint administrs
of all her goods moveable & immoveable whatsoever
& a legacy to her husband upon sight of
the inventory ; who (being willing to undertake
the tuition of the said admrs) is sworn supervisr
in form of law
Decretum est & solvit 3s 4d

Whereas by the death of David Murray merchant
of Douglas, his son David Murray junior is []
the court decreed sole administratr of his goods
& chattels ; as also by the death of Alice Murray
als Christian wife to the sd David Murray senr

Cowle als Xtian of Douglas & William Kermott
of Middle & Jony my wife are decreed joint
administratrs of all her goods & chattels
We the sd Daniel Christian, Isabel Cowl &
William Kermott with Joney my wife, do for
& in consideration of the sum of fifty four
pounds to us in hand paid before the delivery of
these presents, covenant & agree to and []
the aforsd David Murray, to remise, rebate []
for ever quit claim, & have by these pres[ents]
