"Braddan: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Isabel Cubbon alias Kermod who departed this life on the first of December 1696. First she committed her soul to God and body to Christian burial. Item, she left to her son & heir William Cubbon six pence legacy. Item, she left to her loving husband William Cubbon her part of the team and crop of corn and half of the riding horse legacy, he maintaining the children underage during their minority as becometh. Item, she left to her daughter Isabel a chest and she to return to her younger child Thomas Cubbon ten shillings legacy. Item, she left to her three daughters vizt., Isabel, Katherin, and Ann Cubbon all her shapen apparel linen and woolen equally betwixt them. Item, she constituted and ordained her 5 children vizt., John, Thomas, Isabel, Katherin, and Ann Cubbon Executors of all the rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever.
