Archdeacon Will 1688/9 #64, Jurby, of Margaret Crow als Quayle, died 9 January 1688/9:

"Jurby: Margrett Crow als Quaile departed this life about the 9th of January last 1688/9, intestate, whereof the Court having intelligence hath decreed her two CHILDREN VIZT., CHARLES & ELLIN CROW her sole and join Administrators, and the next of kindred on the mothers side vizt., WILLIAM & ELLIN QUAILE to be sworn supervisors with the father Sir WILLIAM CROW, who is sworn in form of Law, and hath undertaken the care and tuition of the foresaid children; a legacy to the husband upon the sight of the Inventory. The Inventory given by the father for the use of the children debtless: 28 pounds 00 shillings 00 pence. Pledges in form of Law Nicholas Thompson and John Crow."
