"Marowne, December the 3rd, 1689: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of JOHN CLUCAS.
First he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.
Item, he left to his FATHER WILLIAM CLUCAS a sheep.
Item, he left to NICHOLAS CLUCAS three sheep.
Item, he left ot DANIEL NELSON a sheep.
Item, he left to his BROTHERS and SISTERS six pence apiece legacy.
Item, he constituted and appointed his BROTHER THOMAS HIS DAUGHTER CATHERINE CLUCAS to be his lawful Executor of all his
goods, moveable and unmoveable, and if it pleased God for to call for the said CHILD, then all to his said BROTHER THOMAS.

THE EXECUTOR UNDERAGE the FATHER is sworn supervisor in Court according to Law. Inventory and Pledges next Court."
