Archdeaconal Will 1685 #31 Bride of Margaret Cowle als Joughin,

"KK Bryde, Aprill 24th 1686: The last will and testament of Magaret Joughin alias Cowle.
First she committed her soul unto God and her body to Xtian burial.
Itm, she left and bequeathed unto her son Mark Cowle 20s.
Itm, to her son William Cowle 20s.
To her daughter Anne Cowle her shaped linen and woolen.
Itm, to her grandchild John Cowle a sheep and a lamb. To the Curate a mutton.
It, she constituted and appointed her husband Charles Cowle and her son Charles joint Executors of all ye rest of her goods moveable & immoveable whatsoever.

Testes: John Curghey, juratus.

There being no objection made at ye probate hereof, The Executors are sworne in Court in forme of Law. Probatum est & solvit 12d. The Inventory taken & prized according to Law amounts to ye sum of 14:11:08. Pledges according to Law Mr. John Curghey & Charles Saile. June 14th 1686: William Joughin enters his claime against the Executors of Margt Joughin for ye sume of 1 pound 19 shillings 0 pence, due debt as will be made to appear, & craveth ye Law. Anno et die predicto: John Christian enters his claime against ye foresaid Executors for ye sum of 20s due debt as will be made to appear & craveth ye Law."
