Archdeacon Will 1685 #34 Bride of Ann Joughin als Joughin,

"Bride: The last will and testament of Anne Joughin who departed this live about the 20th of Novem Anno 1685. First, she committed her soul unto God and her body to Xtian burial.
Itm, she left & bequeathed unto her daughter Isable Joughin a sheep and a lamb and all her shaped woolen and linen cloth save one white petticoat which she left to her that should nurse her child.
Itm, to her son Michall Joughin a sheep. Itm, she will that her father John Joughin should pay two bowles of baley to her husband Michall Joughin, which if he would not quietly do, that then the law should be open for ye Recovery of whatsoever was due.
Itm, she willed that if her said son Michaell Joughin should not live to enjoy the above legasie, that then it should be given to her said daughter Isable Joughin. Itm, she left upon William Corkish 4d which he owed her.
Itm, she appointed her said husband Michell Joughin her Executor of all ye rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever & to have ye bringing up of her children. Testes: Patt: Curleod, Anne Joughin, jurati.

The Executor sworn in Court in forme of Law. Probatum est et Solvit 6d. The Inventory prized according to Law amounts to 00:18:04, besides the legacy left to her daughter abovesaid which is prized to 00:05:02. Pledges given by ye Executor according to Law Nich: Moore & John Lace.

The father acknowledges to pay ye two bowls of barley whereupon this security is acquitted according to the will.

March the 20th 1695 [? 1685/6 ?] ; Michael Joughin the above Executor came this day and xxx acknowledge the receipt of the above 2 bowles of barley and this before me, Jo:Curghey, Regr."
