" Patrick, June 15th 1682, Patrick: The last will and testament of Margrett Quirk als Kean who departed
this life ye 11th of April last past.
First she committed her sould to God and her body to Christian burial.
Itm, she left to her granddaughter Jane Juke a sheep & a lamb. Itm, to her grandson Willm: Quirk a sheep & a lamb.
Itm, to her son John a quart of wool.
Itm, she left to her son John junior 35s (which her son Willm owed her for her part of the ground) over and above his part
of ye Executorship with his sister.
Itm, she left her half of a could to her husband in legacie, and her interest in ye loomes & geares belonging to it.
Itm, to Ann Knichell a petticoat.
Itm, she left 6d in legacie to any one yt would come in & claime an interest or right in or to any part of her goods.
Lastly, she did constitute and appoint her son John junior aforesd, & Ellin her daughter her lawful Executors of all
ye rest of her goods moeable and unmoveable. Testes: Willm: Knickell, Willm: Quirk, jurati.
The Executors at Lawful age sworn in court in form of Law. Probatum et solvit 1s. The Inventory taken by 4 sworn men vizt., Tho: Cottier, Willm: Quirk, John Quilliam, and Robt Quilliam, amounts to in all 3 pounds : 10 shillings : 0 pence. Pledges in form of law, Wm Knickle & Wm Quirk.
June ye 18th 1682: John Quirk entereth against ye Executors of his mother Margt Kean[or Koan] for a couple xxxx, half sheet, half blanket, & a peck of barly."
