died 2 November 1674: "The last will & testament of Wm Cosnahan
who departed this life ye 2d of November 74 and beinge in perfect memory commended
his soule to God, his body to Xian burial. To ye poore at my Executors discretion.
Itm, to my son Wm Cosnahan an oxe, a steer & a horse.
Itm, to his son Hugh Cosnahan a cow for the moneyes due to him.
Itm, to his son Thomas a heffer.
Itm, to his two sonnes Thos. & Hugh three firlets of barly apiece to be
paid by their elder brother.
Itm, to his grandchild Wm Cosnahan a foale.
Itm, he ordained his wife Katheren Cosnahan his lawful executrix of all the
rest of his goods movable & unmovable. More to my sons Hugh & Tho a
younge horse for legacy.
Witnesses: Wm Corris, Jo: Quirke, juratus.
The Inventory priced by 4 sworne men: Wm Corrin, Jo. Shimin, Jo. Christian, Robt Quillam, amounts to twelve shillings. The Executrix sworn in form of law & have given pledges in form of law Tho.Waterson & Jo.Gell.
Julie ye 11gh 1675: Willm Calister enters his claime against ye said Executrix for the sum of fifteen shillings due debt as appears by specialte with the use thereof since hee received the said moneys: and also for 4s more & 6s due by specialtie for which there is a xxxx of meaddowing in mortgage: all due debt as hee will make to appeare & craveth tryall, and also 8s 6d upon account as shall appeare & craveth tryall.
June 11th 1675: Fourteen days time is granted to Willm Cosnahan to prove his contraction & to produce xxxxxx same to us: otherwise we shall proceed according to law. Xxx die: Jo. Kelly enters his claims against ye executrix of Willm: Cosnahan for ye sum of 2s due debt & draveth xxxx.
June 11: Joh: Crelling clark enters his claime against ye said Executrix for 2s 6d.
June 11, 1675: Willm: Gell enters also for 5s 6d due debt & craveth trial.
June 11, 75: Finlo Farcher enters his claime against ye said Exeuctrix for 12s lent money & craveth trial.
June 11, 75: Willm McYlchreest enters against ye said Executrix for 3 xxxxx."
