Episcopal Will 1672 book 2, Malew, of Catharine Bridson als Shimmin, made 27 Aug 1671:

"KK Malew August 27th. 1671: The last will and testament of Cathrin Bridson als Shimine who comitted her soule to god and her bodie to Xtian buriall, Item shee bequeathed to the poore a bowle ------ mault and wheat and a mutton Item she bequeathed to Sr Tho: Parr halfe a ferlett of wheat; Item she bequeathed to her son John Bridson the teame with all the cropp of corne and all the geares belonging to the farme or husbandrie, Item she bequeathed to her daughter Ellin Bridson out of the sayd cropp three bowles of high corne for her weddinge to be paid by her brother Jo: bequeathed also to her the said Ellin all the geese and three muttons, Item she left upon her sayd son Jo: to pay out of the sayd cropp, teame ---- the debt due to Robt Quay and the debt due to her brother Jo: shimine and William ffaile and not to pay anythinge els due to the children or any other, Item shee bequeathed to her aforesaid daughter Ellin Bridson foure pounds a fether bed, boulster and cloathes (all to be included in the foure pounds --- foure pounds in all;) Item she bequeathed to her sonn Hen: Bridson a browne heffer; Item she bequeathed to her daughter Catherin her best red petticoat Item she bequeathed to her daughter Jane Bridson another red petticoat and a browne waistcoat Item further bequeathed to Ellin foure yards of red cloath and a hudd; Item to Ann Lowry her servant a gray coat, Item she bequeathed to her granchild Nicho: ffarger a sheepe and a lamb at May next Item to Edward Quay a lambe at may next, Item to Margrett Quay a lambe att May next; Item bequeathed to her sonn Tho: Bridson a table; Item shee constituted, ordained and appointed her children Tho: William, and Henrie Bridson her lawfull executors of all the rest of her goods moveable and Unmoveable whatsoever and to pay all the legacies afore mentioned Testes Tho: Parre, John Shimine, Ann Lowry, jurati. probat est et soluit xijd"
