" August the 25^th 1647: John Daughertie sick in body but whole in mine, & of perfect memorie (thanks be to God) on making last will and testament in manner & forme following: First I bequeath my soule into the hands of the Almightie God, and my body to Christian burial, etc. It, I leave to my brother William Daughertie six shillings legasie. It, I constitute and ordaine my son Donell Daughertie my true and lawful Executor of all the rest of my goods moveable an unmoveable. It, I leave the tuition of my said son Donnell Daughertie to my father & mother, with the benefit of his goods till he come to lawful yeares; & they my said father & mother are then to buide[?] him to a traide, & the remainder of his goods to returne to himself. It, I leave my brother William Daughertie supervisor of my said son. It, I leave to Sir John Huddlestone a lambe. Testes: John Huddleston, Jony Lace, jurati. The overseer sworne. Probat it Solvit 6d.

The Inventorie of the goods of John Daughertie taken and prised as followeth; by Henry Teere, Maloony Cneele[?], John Teere, & Pat: Cowle: It, 1 cattle, horses & 1 blanket & 1 yard and a half of linen cloath prised to 6 pounds 0 shillings 0 pence. It, all household stuff with 1 steir hide and 1 horse hide 0:6:0. Pledges: Do: Christian & Gilbert Lace.

Xx 8ber 1657: Wm Curleor[?] entereth his claime against the exer of Jo:Daugherty for the sum of 5s and craveth tryall according to Law."
