"Curia Testia 27^th 3bris 1656: Defuncts: Jo: Geane. Jo: Jane departed this life about the 20^th June 1656 who bequeathed his soule to God and his bodye to Chritian burial. He left half a heifer of a year and a half old to his daughter Bahee Jeane. He ordained his 2 children viz Jo: & Bahee Geane his lawful exec. The Court has ordained the next of kin viz Roger Geane supervisor. Testes: Roger Jane. In Regard This will agreeth with the Laws of this Isle cum consense plia Probat et Solvit.
