Sue, I don't know if you kept up with my explanation regarding Maud Cox, it did look confusing to me on reading it back and I wrote it! But thank you for your continued interest. As mentioned the only way to find out if that was the correct marriage for Maud would be to buy a certificate, so that is on the back burner for the time being. Yes that is the correct William Henry Cox buried in Marown, on his death certificate his occupation was of a silver plater, which is well in keeping with occupation so far. I was hoping to open the certificate up and find the informant named as Alice ?????, but it did say Alice Cox widow. Do you or anyone else know if you have to pay to search the marriage index on the IOM in person?
