Which surname(s) were you actually looking for on the scans? Brian Lawson's index is usually the best first choice because he compiled most of this from the actual marriage registers, which are available on LDS film up to 1911. His index doesn't have all marriages because he was working on it when he died. Sometimes he has an alternative spouse for an entry because there are two marriages to the page, and he wasn't sure from the index which spouse belonged to which partner. He has entries up until the early 1920s.
