Hi All

I have a story in the family that my ggg g'father was taken by the press gang. Is there anywhere I could find a list of names or confirmation of this. I know this is a big ask!

I have checked the wonderful MNB and the Manx National Heritage Library (Manxmen in Nelson's Navy) without luck. I am in the Island from Saturday and will be visiting the MM.

It appears from IGI they had 5 children 1796/7 to 1806

I also don't know if he was taken pre or post family
I am unsure of his birth date but his father may have been a Richard.
Also unsure of his death but if he died on the Island there are 2 possible burials
