Thank you, Sue, for your advice. I have only been looking into my family tree for a couple of months so am a complete novice. I am going to join the IOMFHS as soon as I can get a form (no printer), but the info on this site is fascinating. I found a family tree on gedcom yesterday prepared by a Tom Corteen that features my grandmother, her mother, Isabella Corteen, and goes back several generations. In the interim, any help and advice is most appreciated.
