My great grandfather was born on March 5 1875. I know the names of his brothers and sisters and his ancestors back to late 1700's. My problem is proving my grandfather is actually a legitimate member of his family. His parents were Wm Faragher (Fargher) and Jane Hampton but I cannot find any record of his birth. I can find other brothers and sisters birth records. In addition, in 1881, when the family were living at Bridge House in German, there is no record of my greatgrandfather. In 1891 he is recorded as living with his uncle to whom he was apprenticed as a baker. It is believed in the family that he was born in Ballaugh. Can anyone help?
