And now I've found them in 1861,(Cheshire, Birkenhead, district 22, page 23 ) I see where you got William's birth parish of Santon from.

This is the only Santon baptism of a William Killey / Kelly in the right time frame, although it doesn't match the ages of 33 and 43 he gives in 1851 and 1861.

So I'm assuming that both parents had died between 1861 and 1871.

I've just found Mary with 1 year old Zaccheus in 1841, staying with her parents, but no sign of William. (Cheshire, Thurstaston, district 5b page 1 )
