"Continuing with the idea that #3 is the one, the parents Thomas GELLING and Ann MOORE married 15 Mar 1808 Braddan, and I have 3 children: Edward Thomas 1808, Ann 1810 and Thomas 1812. I know nothing about Edward Thomas. Ann married Henry KELLETT in 1838 Braddan and had a large family. She lived to age 93 and he lived to 82. Henry Kellett was a Schoolmaster in Douglas, born England."
In 1851, Conchan, district 4b, page 50
5 Church Street
Henry Kellett head age 45 schoolmaster born England
Anne wife age 40 born Douglas
Anne dau age 10 born Douglas
Alice age 8 born England
Jane dau age 6 born England
Henry son age 4 born England
Mary dau age 2 born England
Anne Gelling mother in law widow age 79 landed proprieter born Santon
If Eric is right in speculating that the Thomas Gelling who married Agnes Anne Brough was a brother of the Anne Gelling b 1810 who married Henry Kellett in 1838, then the 79 year old Anne Gelling born Santon in Henry Kellett's 1851 household would be Anne nee Moore who married Thomas Gelling Sr on 15 March 1808 in Braddan.
