I tried looking on research, census but I can only see a number at side of name (I presume this is ref no for files) and cannot get into the original census - would this be on a CD, if so would it show all of parishers ? and where would I get this from
just look at at his daugher Esthers Marriage cert from 1899 and that shows him as a Labourer not a Carter

1 age 51 at And 4684 89 36 with children William H age 3, Laura 13 & Edward 15
other age 54 at Ram 4685 59 217 with children catherine 17, Gertrude 8 and Beatrice 4 - I was wondering if these could be him niece/nephews and he was looking after them
others I dismissed because they were showing wifes
