Did your researcher look for their death records at the Registry? You could buy their death certs from them. The Registry will do a search for a fee - see:
www.gov.im/registries/general/civilregistry/

You can email them - address under "Contacts" at the top of the screen.

There may also be MIs, but your researcher would have checked for those?
