hello sue,sorry for the delay,computer problems. awilliam chubbin came to n.z and tasmania.he had a brother john. i think they came from raeby beg?got here in 1840s,via america.quite a story! john was a early settler here of note. i believe the name comes from cubbin.if we can help eachother i would love to here from you!
