Please be assured that I will raise this with the committee at the next meeting which is in the process of being arranged. I have sent my dates to Pat earlier today as to when I'm available for the next two months. (The sooner the better for me)
If I'm to be a spokesman, then so be it. I don't choose to be so, but I feel a strong will, bond and a passion on this board that members would like to see some knowledge as to various events/things/information etc and I feel duty bound to let you know of whats being discussed as soon as I possibly can.
If and I mean if, you're happy for me to put forward your suggestions, I'd be happy to do so. I'm still a 'sprog' (youngster) in comparison to members with years of experience consisting of valuable time and patience and my respect and admiration goes out to those who've silently added to our many databases without gaining the gratitude or appreciation they should receive.
With that in mind, I was considering that the FHS Forum be utilized in a different way.
I'm thinking out loud but I'd like to ask your opinion at the same time, Could one section of the FHS Forum be used to promote members who've done research or done something that promotes Genealogy? I'm only asking as I see and hear of people who contribute vast amounts of information and Knowledge and maybe be using the FHS Forum in a different way, this could be recorded on the FHS site?
I personally would like to see peoples efforts being seen, but because I see different avenues and directions every time I look at something, what could/would you suggest?
Best wishes, Paul
