Hello, I'm new to this board. I'm very sorry to piggyback on this thread, and I hope I'm not violating any rules, but I have been searching for further information about my gg-grandmother and this thread got me very excited. I'm wondering if my gg-grandmother was possibly related to the Jane Fell you're speaking of.

Her name was Annie Fell, born approx. 1846 in Malew, IOM. She married James Kennedy in Liverpool in 1870 and she shows up in the 1871 census in L'pool and in the 1881 census in Everton. In 1886 they headed to New Orleans. She passed in 1893 in Vicksburg, MS.

I've sent off for the marriage record and I'm hopeful it will list parents, but at this time I don't know anything else about her. I do know she had four daughters- Elizabeth, Jane, Isabella and Ada. I know these aren't uncommon names by any means, but the scarcity of Fell records and the similarity in family names makes me hopeful these two Fells were closely related.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
