Mary: The IGI record as follows indicates Eliza was indeed christened on the IOM, and I did discover entries showing christenings for the two youngest children that travelled back to the IOM with their mother. The problem with these 2 entries however, is that they include second Christian names which I was not aware of previously, nor have I seen them included in any other records. I originally thought that Eliza had these 2 children baptized after returning home and after her separation from David, therefore concluding they had not been baptized elsewhere. I cannot confirm the two younger children are Eliza and David Richardson’s however.

I don’t have the marriage certificate for David and Jean St Clair Irving. I do know they were married at Trinity Church in Galveston, and as you suggest I will attempt to obtain a copy of their marriage registration/certificate. A good suggestion Mary – thank you.
