You didn't give ages from the censuses for the 2 wives, so these are guesses.

You probably saw this on the IGI:
EDWARD GELLING & ELEANOR MILBOURNE Marriage: 12 FEB 1850 Braddan.

Mary appeared to be having children almost every year until 1842.
