Ref: .....One of my ancestors, Edward Quine, was a bootmaker in Strand Street in the 1850s & 60s
I am currently working through all Quine MI's and burials with Donna. I came across this one. I do not have an occupation for him. He might be your person but there are several Quine's on that street.

In memory of ESTHER JANE wife of EDWARD QUINE of Strand Street Douglas who died July 23rd 1857 aged 41 years
Also SOPHIA JANE daughter of the above who died in infancy
Also OSWALD beloved son of OSWALD and ELLEN QUINE of Liverpool and grandson of the above who died January 13th 1882 aged 4 years and 5 months
Of such is the Kingdom of Heaven
Also ADA JANE sister of the above OSWALD died May 4th 1882 aged 3 years and 3 months
Also the above named EDWARD QUINE who departed this life April 27th 1899 in his 86th years
Edward who died 1857 married Esther Jane Oswald and he was son of THOMAS QUINE of Douglas [A hatter who died 1854] and Ann Comash.
Was he the bootmaker?...post question if you want more on this line.
Also if anyone can find them in the 1851 census I would appreciate the information.
