Hi Eric,
Good idea to send the will transcript to Brian Lawson. Although will summaries are very helpful they can be misinterpreted because they are always out of context. I have hundreds of handwritten ones myself, made before Brian started his website, which I tried to persuade him to take to add to his index until a full transcript was made. He refused because in a summary relevant information may be missing and this is difficult to spot, as well as the possibility of misinterpretation, and wrong names taken from abbreviations. On a full transcript, especially when keeping the same lines as in the original, it is easy for a 2nd person to make corrections, and this has often been done on Brian's website.
This is not to say that the summaries are not extremely helpful - they are - especially in locating the "right" person in an index list of many same-name people, but they cannot take the place of a full transcript.
