Frances, are you sure the rediscovered Braddan register doesn't have marriages as well? In a recent Joughin message Philip Allen mentioned a marriage in Braddan which isn't in the IGI, and which he would have seen in the MM in the 1970s. (Or which Constance Radcliffe would have found.)
