hi im looking for either the birth or marriage of robert yates parents, i know his father is joseph yates (mill foreman). where there any mills on the island? during robert,s time he was born about 1876/77 so possibly joseph was born 1850 ish he was deceased when robert married in 1900.
any information how ever small is really helpful
