I assume the witness Richard Lewin was John James Lewin's brother bapt 10 Oct.1858 Braddan, but I can't place Emma Corkhill. Jemima's sisters who were still Corkill and still in the IoM were Eunice Elizabeth and Susannah, and her stepmother was Christian Jane. Her eldest sister Margaret Ann bapt.3 Dec.1843 Marown, married William KELLY 4 Aug.1866 Braddan (yet another Kelly). Her brothers' wives were not Emma. Eunice E Corkill's twin Titus (John Titus) had married in 1881 Anne Jane SKILLICORN (bapt 4 June 1854 Lonan, daur of William Skillicorn & Catherine Cleator).
- So a mystery, unless it was a badly written abbreviated Eunice?
