There is no FHC available for me to use here, unfortunately. I do realise that original documents would not be available to the general public but had hoped for copies.

I am not a member of IOM FHS but will join when I am in the IOM next week. Whatever my research turns up it, it will be nice to see the IOM and get a feel for the place.
