Brian, it does look like Lewin, and maybe Lawson. I've been looking at previous and subsequent censuses, and the names just don't fit, unless you asume that they are actually Patrick and Ellen/Eleanor Lawson als Corlett, married 1821 Dgls. They were at Sand St in 1841 and 1851, then Back Strand St 1861. Eleanor died 1864 and Patrick was lodging at Dgls 10-82 in 1871, before he died in 1875 (ref your names index).
It would be extremely difficult to substantiate this from the 1861 census, so feel free to shoot this one down!
