William was born arount 1892 - his father William Henry Halsall was born in 1857 - his parents William Halsall and Mary Ann Kelly were both born in the Isle of Man in 1835. Thanks again for all your help in trying to solve this for me!! Its just the story that William Henry may have been in business in the Isle of Man led me to think that maybe his son was born there as I cannot find his birth recorded anywhere.
