John b1815 and my ggg gf William b1811 were brothers. He married Margaret Killip in 16 Jan 1836. They has 8 children:
John James b1836
William b9 sep 1838 (my gg gf)
Thomas b 23 aug 1840 (went to USA ~ 1860?)
Sophia Jane b 11 sep 1842
Edward Henry b22 jan 1845
Ann Margaret b 1848
Elenour b1851 (believed to be a missionary who died at age 32)
Eunice Eliza b 1853

John James got the farm at Ballaskella. William left for New Zealand and settled in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Thomas is believed to have gone to the USA but I can't find any trace. I would love to know more.

I have never been to the Island do you live there?
