The William I referred to in my previous post was a son of John Quayle, born about 1783 in Lezayre and married Jane Corlett on 14 Mar 1809 in Kirk Michael, Isle of Man.

I believe the children were:

William Quayle was born about 1811. He died on 24 Apr 1861. He died on 24 Apr 1861.
Eleanor Quayle was born about 1813
John Quayle was born about 1815 in Ballaskella, Lezayre
Jane Quayle was born in 1817 in Lezayre
Thomas Quayle was born on 25 Apr 1819 in Lezayre
Ann Margaret Quayle was born about 1822

Was your gg grandfather John? Did he marry Eleanor Margaret Cowley?
