Transcription of the will of Matthias Corlett d.1896 Lonan MNHL 1896 Lonan 22 Reel JG 6; LDS 0106523 MATTHIAS CORLETT LONAN I Matthias Corlett of Lhergy Grawe in the parish of Lonan, miner, being of sound mind memory and understanding 1896 do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following hereby revoking and 22 cancelling all wills heretofore made by me. First I leave devise and bequeath to my son Robert Corlett my Dwelling House garden and premises situate on Lhergy Grawe in the said Parish of Lonan subject however to my said son Robert Corlett paying to my two daughters, namely Catherine Jane Corlett and and (sic) Margaret Anne Corlett the sum of seventy five pounds equally and proportionately between them each to share alike, and the said sum of seventy five pounds shall be a lien upon the said Dwelling House garden and premises until paid. Next I leave devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ellen wife of Edward Kinrade the sum of two pounds to get mourning apparel. Next I leave devise and bequeath to my two children Catherine Jane Corlett and Margaret Anne Corlett the whole of my furniture, goods and effects equally and proportionately between them, and I hereby nominate William Mylrea of Sunhill Cottage and John James Quine of Lhergy Grawe, both in the said Parish of Lonan, guardians of my said two children until they come of age. I also direct and order that my daughter Emily Helen Quine shall for the three years following my decease have the entire use of my dwelling house garden and premises aforesaid provided she pays all rates taxes and encumbrances on the said property and makes all necessary repairs it may require, and with the understanding that my two youngest children aforesaid are under her charge. Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said son Robert Corlett sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and have hereunto subscribed my name this the fifteenth day of February in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety six (1896).
