Pat I curious to find Eliza's address as I realized there was a chance her house still existed if she was
a parishioner of St George's . The graveyard is much as
it was only a very short distance uphill from Athol Street
with its lawyers ' offices some in the original townhouse
terraces built as the best street in town in the early
19C. If you knew the number Eliza's house may be there but some have been demolished. Manx NH have
photos of the street at that time.
The Richardson headstone is one of the best preserved
in the graveyard. As I live in Douglas I have passed
very close by it many times. It is 2 graves in by main roadway adjacent to south door of church.
