Kay and Mary:
Thank you; yes, I was aware Sophia's initial was "J", not "A", and the 3 childrens' entries you have located certainly sound right. This of course would place their parents' marriage PERHAPS in the Middlesex county. I will pursue this avenue.
The 1850 entry for Eliza showing her age to be 28 (and consequently indicating the birth of her first child was at 17 years of age), is curious, however, not unlikely. She could have given birth at that young age, or, her age on the census is incorrect by a couple of years or so.
Mary, I'm not sure what "address" you are looking for from Eliza's Will, however, a copy of my transcription is on Brian Lawson's site under both RICHARDSON and WILSON. The Will was read in Douglas, and Eliza had been residing in Athol Street at the time of her demise.
Both you ladies have been a great help and I do appreciate very much the kindness you have shown me.
Pat
