Frederick Halsall of Cronk E Voddy and James Killip of Ballaugh are
jointly and severally and any two of us jointly bound unto our Sovereign
Lady the Queen in the sum of Two hundred pounds, to the payment
whereof, well and truly to be made to our said Lady the Queen her heirs,
and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves jointly and severally, and
any two of us jointly, our Executors and Administrators, firmly by these
present. As witness our subscription the 9th day of November in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety one.
The condition of the obligation is such, that if the above named Jane
Halsall the intended administratrix of all and singular the personal
estate and effects of John Halsall late of Cronk E Voddy farmer but now
deceased, who died on or about the 27th July 1891, do, when lawfully
called on in that behalf, make or cause to be made a true and perfect
inventory of all and singular the personal estate and effects of the said
deceased which have or shall come into her hands, possession, or
knowledge, or into the hands of any other person for her and the same to
made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited into the proper Registry in that
behalf whenever required by law so to do: And the same personal estate
and effects and all other the personal estate and effects of the said
deceased which shall at any time come into the hands or possession of
the said Jane Halsall or into the hands or possession of any other person
or persons for her or which without default might have come into the
hands or possession of the said Jane Halsall do well and truly administer
according to law, that is to say, do pay the debts and liabilities of the
said deceased so far as the said personal estate will extend and the

4th day of August 1903 intestate.
2. It is necessary that Letters of Administration of the personal estate
and effects of the said Jane Halsall should be granted to some fit and
proper person.

Honor may be pleased to grant Letters of Administration of the personal

John Thomas Halsall late of Peel Town in the parish of German deceased
who died on or about the 11th day of January 1879 having made oath on
the Holy Evangelists that said testator John Thomas Halsall when of
sound and disposing mind memory and understanding duly signed and
acknowledge the same as and for his last will and testatment in his
presence and at the same time in the presence of Elizabeth M. Cowley the
other subscribing witness to such execution and that they at the same
time in the presence of the said testator and of each other subscribed
the same in attestation thereof. John Halsall the executor in said will
named is therefore sworn well and truly to fulfil and execute said will
and to administer all and singular the personal estate and effects of the
said deceased according to law by paying the just debts funeral and
testamentory expenses of the said deceased and the legacies contained

lifetime entitle to a legacy of thirty pounds bequeathed to her by the
will of her father John Cain deceased.
That the said Esther Augusta Halsall died in the month of July 1878
intestate. And her husband the said John Thomas Halsall died in the
month of January 1879 without having taken out administration of his
said wife's estate.
That petitioner is the only child of the said Esther Augusta Halsall or her
said husband.

agreed to become Pledges for the due and faithful administration of the

Frederick James Halsall hereby bind and oblige ourselves, jointly and
severally, and our heirs, executors, and administrators, firmly by these
presents as pledges for the said John Halsall that he shall well and truly
