Joan, I don't think that Daniel Lace and Joney Sayle are likely to be the parents of your Daniel. Do you have a reason to think that they were?
Their son Daniel was bapt 5 March 1777, and if you look at the will I directed you to in my last message you will see that your Daniel's wife was much older than that. There are six Daniel Lace baptisms in Andreas in the 1750s, and two in the 1760s, closer to the age that his wife must have been, and can be seen on the IGI.
Catharine Kee who later married Daniel Lace was married firstly in 1782 to Philip Cannell (their children can be seen in Daniel's will) so she would probably have been born before 1762.
In his will Daniel mentions his sister who could be a clue as to which Daniel he was. He wrote "my sister Margaret the wife of Mitchel Lace". You can find her on the IGI with husband Michael Lace whom she married in 1770 - which would probably make her born before 1750.
There are two Margarets, daurs of Dan Lace, bapt in Andreas in the mid 1740s.
