Joan, in your first message you have: "Enos born 31 July 1801 Kirk Rushen..."

The 1841 census didn't give places of birth, so I assume that was the place of residence for the family given on the 1841 census return? - Which doesn't mean that Enos was born there.

You need to see them in the 1851 census to get places of birth - I'm pretty sure they were an Andreas family.
