I am interested in an ancestor who originated in the iom called Charles Christery who eventually moved to Birkenhead. He was living in Andreas on the 1851 census with his parents John and Jane Christry (It seems there are various spellings of the surname on the island). Has anyone come across this name as it seems to be quite unique to the iom. Thanks Steve
